guy gave me the quest, and it appears on my map, but I can't select it...can you only go there from Athlaka? This happened when I was trying to go there from D'Arnise keep...

Dunno if this is a bug or not, but it happened to me too. I just went back and forth to different areas. The ones marked with a blue outline usually mean that you need to go there to get a new quest or because its the location of where you NEED to go for one of the quests you already have. Dont worry, Windspear Hills will become active after you move around a bit.

Did you try going to the City Gates before going to the Windspear Hills?

I have the same problem. I tried going from City gates, D'Arnise Hold and everywhere else to no effect.

u can only travel outside through the city gate, so head on there ......have fun

I had a similar problem. I was unable to go directly to Windspear hills from City gates or D'Arnise keep. If you get Trademeet on your map, try going to trademeet adn then to the windspear hills. That worked for me.
