My Alc makes potions?

I've never used an Alc before, but i was camping and it said he made a potion. Does he use anything or does he just make it? Can he do anything else with potions, like mix them?

just wondering,, humm

Alcs apparently are not dependent on party inventory to make their potions. Also, any character with alchemy skill (eg. ninjas and rangers) can mix potions by using the merge button on the appropriate character inventory screen. If you need a spoiler on recipes, let us know, but potion mixing is dependent on the level of your alchemy skill.

I might add that you need to have alchemy 50 to make a renewal potion.

I'll add that mixing potions is a good way to build up your character's Alchemy skill, and the resulting potions are useful for practice IDing items.

Also, mixing potions is one way to make money, but look at the prices carefully for different combinations. For some mixes, the resultant potion is worth less than the potions you mixed to produce it.

Check the web sites with spoilers and walkthroughs to find lists.
