Where is a good place to get money, I don't have a Bis or Alky so can't do the mixing potions thing.
I am in the swamp and Croc has a few spell books I want to buy for my Sam, Monk and lord. Just no cash!!
Any ideas?

Do you have a Ranger or Ninja in the party? They can also mix potions for you. Other-wise, you'll just have to scavenge for loot to sell.

If you can make it to Martens Bluff the rooms with the spirits gaurding the hall in lower MB has a lot of good stuff to sell as well as a few spell books upstairs and down.

If you saved the empty bottles you have found you could make Cherry Bombs at the black pool in the swamp, and the sell those.

The Giant Silver Nugget is worth about 40000, and the Diamond about 10000.

Kill the Don and sell off the cane. Money worries solved. Unless you like fairy ninjas.

The diamond has always produced about $8,500 for our teams, depends on your communication skills. I've never had a problem with money in the game or real life. You make do with what you have. Now, when you do the Mountain Wilderness, there is great money there. When our party explores that area we always have enough, if you can aurvive that is.

IMO you don't need to buy books for hybrids at this stage. They need to be level 12 to cast these spells at level 1. Come back later if you want to buy the spells. Or just use spell picks.

Another source of (a bit) cheap money: with good communication skill (the amulet from LMB) you can buy goods from Sadok (T'Rang), and sell the stuff for 10% profit in arnika.

Dam, gave the diamond back to the bank, knew I should have held onto it. Think I'll go find that Giant Silver Nugget. abd kill the Don, I don't have any fairy's with me. Might even try that buying and selling thing. Is everyhting from Sadok 10% cheaper?

You could also do some of the T'Rang missions - you are rewarded with cash (and exp) for each mission, and the first few don't take much time. Marten's Bluff isn't far from the swamp!

... it's especially quick if you already have the umpani flag! The rewards are 2000 / 4000 (+ items, e.g. bushido: 7500) / 8000, for the last you have to deliver the letter to the mook in arnika.

I'll have to do those, think I picked up the flag and I've bought the rapax perfume.

Those bits that the Trang don't want you to go in, is anything there, or are those places just for Umpani missions?
