T'rang teleporter program crash

I have found the T'rang Teleporter in Lower Marten's bluff. Anytime I try to walk past it, the program crashes and drops me back to the desktop. Will not going past this stop me from finishing the game. Also, does the fact that I have not been assigned any quest associated with this device have anything to do with it. Finally, the T'rang are completely hostile to me and I am fighting my way through the base.

I would appreciate any information on this.

Firstly welcome to Ironworks!

About the program crash I don't know what could cause this. Just an idea: have you tried putting in the wires you find next to the dead body? In order to finish the game you don't have to go anyhere near the teleporter, it just makes movement over large distances much easier.

There aren't any quests associated with it.

Being hostile to the T'rang does not have any negative effect on being able to complete the game, you just miss out on some quests and some experience.

Sounds to me like your game broke somewhere. I've never heard of a crash around the T'rangaporter or the Monitor, in that section of LMB. Maybe hide your save in another folder, reinstall, and see if your save works. If it's your save that's busted, you gotta go to an earlier one or start over...
