Harper quest activation?

Is there any way to activate the Harper quest? I've been in the docks district a lot, and no one has come to contact me. (Except Xzar)

Go get jaheria, the quests are to do with her.

I know, I've had her the entire time I've been playing! That's why I'm starting to wonder what's going on. I am in chapter 6 and have been in the Docks District a lot. I visit Cromwell on a fairly regular basis...still nothing. Does anyone know a cheat to activate this quest?

Did you do the xzar/montaron/bird quest? if you didnt i dont think this storyline will progress. plus i think maybe you have to romance jaheria for them to work.

No, I didn't do the Xzar quest, as I knew he was a Zhentarim agent and, being a ranger, refuse to do anything against the Harpers. I am in a romance with Jaheira, however.

Well, that quest aside, how do I get the romance to Jaheira to progress? Last thing she said to me was "We'll talk more later." I'd like to finish the Jaheira romance so that I can do the Viconia romance during the last part of the game.

No, you have to do Xzars quest, but the Harper quests will proceed without you having to romance Jaheira....I do think shell have 2 be in your party though...

Unless you have a patch to change it, you can only ever do one romance per game.

Xzar won't approach you to do his quest unless you've returned Renfield's body. You get Renfield's body in a random encounter moving between districts in Athkatla or from Athkatla to other towns.

On a side note, I've added a patch that allows the romances to be done concurrently and man do Jaheira and Aeria get bitchy with each other!

Do you have to do the bandit quest if you are in romance with Jaheira to get summoned to the Harper Hold?

When Aerie and Jaheira jump at each other, you have to choose between them. If you're not careful, Aerie may even leave your party for good. (Not a great loss imho).
