I'm just starting up BG2 and created a thief character with the intention of changing over to a monk. However it doesnt look like i have that option - why is that so ? Im really intrigued by the monk character, I wanted to have great find trap/pick lock skills to as to eliminate the need for a thief later on meanwhile playing a character (monk)i really want. Any ideas ? Thanks

quote: You can only dual class to characters that you can create multi-class. This means no monks or paladins. That would be a deadly combo. A thief who could sneak up behind you and give you the quivering palm to the back of the head. *shivers* |

Monks are not valid dualclass options.

quote: Spoilers ~ ~ ~ ~ My solo Sorcerer is currently taking a vacation, because seriously... nobody is giving him a challenge, and this is taking into consideration that his spell list is slightly flawed. I will finish ToB with him eventually, by the end of next week. My solo Assassin is in the Temple Ruins, going for her Shadow Dragon Scale Armour. The 'weakest' of all my solo characters, but one of the richest. My solo Archer is in the Temple Sewers now, awaiting my orders to enter the Cult of the Unseeing Eye. He has a Shield of Balduran, and I intend to level him up a 'little' bit. ![]() ![]() ![]() My latest solo character is a Wizard Slayer. I intend to dual him to a Mage at level 13. This is for my own roleplaying. |
