Is there anyway to complete the game with only a two person group? What classes would I NEED to get to the end of the game? Any classes that you absolutely have to have in order for the story line to continue?

The most common class for a 1 person group is faerie ninja.

I would bet that it is possible to win with any two characters.

I would bet though , that it is very hard as a mage.

Its probably best to have 1 character that can cast resurect, that might save a lot of time.

Both characters having stealth would make it a lot easier...

No specific classes are necessary to finish.

I don't know if it's the "best," but I did a Bard and Bishop party that was fun.

2 Bishops is nice. it may seems the game is super difficult first but later you'll laugh on any encounter.

Igf you don't want to reload often, go for fighter + bishop. The only combo that probably could win in ironman mode. I think i only had to reload 4-5 times once i made it to arnika (expert mode).
Well, i added a level of rogue for both, to train stealth. But it made the game very easy for later stages.

My last game was a Dracon lord and a Faerie. The Faerie started out as a rogue to get stealth (fought as many battles as I had patience for in the Monastery), then switched to bishop for magic for all the protective spells, then to ninja to use the Cane of Corpus. The number of levels for the Faerie in each class were 3:12:10, finishing at lev 25. There were some tough spots at the beginning (when totals levs were less than 10), but these two could handle all the big battles later. The advantage of having a lord or valkyrie instead of a fighter is the healing and transportation spells. Two transporters are much better than one, unless you like traipsing back and forth constantly.

Do you think I can do it with a Ninja/Thief and Monk only?

Sure you can do it. People have done solos, so a two character party is doable. But is it fun?

In another thread, someone wrote that he has to reload 90% of the early battles. And i assume this is im normal or easy difficulty. And for me, this isn't fun. I started some solos, but didn't like it. Your opioion may vary.

I think the only two character party that can win the game in expert ironman mode is fighter/bishop. And even then, reaching Arnika alive will be a big problem.
