Is there any purpose in keeping this item? Is it vital to the game as some clue? Fuzzfas is offering $34k for it, and my guys want to buy some groovy gear. Will I hurt my party in the future by selling it now?

Thanks

i'd recommend you just do a search of the forums here... this has been covered numerous times...

bottom line:

Ferro, in rapax castle, can use it to make you weapons (just like Antone uses pincer modai claws).

I always store mine by the trang teleporter, and many others store it at Antone's in Arnika. At 250lbs it's not something you want to carry around unless you are trying to rob a recruited NPC.

With that nugget and a couple of other things (I don't recall what they are anymore, sorry), Ferro can make something called "reflective armor". Just one suit of it. If I remember rightly, it reflects some of the damage you take back to the person who hit you. I did have it made once, but didn't think it was all that wonderful. You might just as well sell it for the cash.

Ya the mirror armor reflects some damage back to the damager. Its for those 3 fighter classes... However Ferro sells better armor for that class just for sale. On close examination I would say its better not to get hit than do some damage when you get hit. So... you could sell it perhaps

The obsidian is to the right when you enter right outside one of those tunnels. Should show up on xray.

Sorry for the repeat Snooch. I found it by walking around in search mode. I get in a lot more fights this way, but it seems to be just as effective as anything to fiind hidden loot.

No prob, i've asked repeat questions myself...

Just a funny thing:

I "sacrificed" my human samuri to al-seduxus this morning, and he came back and said the funniest thing I've ever heard in an RPG. Usually I send a guy to her and its a chuckle not a gut laugh....

"She's a bit rough, BUT I LIKED IT!!!!"

He has the Chaotic 1 personality type ("If it walks, I can change that")

Beats the heck out of the second funniest thing I ever heard in Wiz 8 (My burly lizardman...) "Why bubblehead so angry?"

Cheers.

The mirror armor reflects all melee damage to the monster that causes it. But (surprisingly) only hit that hit your body, not the ones hitting your head, your legs...

If i need cash, i usually sell it to He-Li. She seems to stock it (and the diamond) forever, so you probably can buy it back later, when you don't need money anymore.

I placed the silver nugget on that floor switch in Mt. Gigas caves to hold open the secret door to some goodies. I actually thought that was what the thing was for! After that, I sold it.

You're not the only one.
In my first game, i used it at that spot, too. Immediately teleported back to Arnika (where i stored it) to place it there. But i left it on the plate, and came back later after i was at Ferro.
