Rubber Shoe

In an old posting, it was stated that any item except the dead frog is useful for something.
Now, i carried the Rubber Shoes again through the whole game and don't know what to do with it.
What is it good for? Spoil me!

(And n, its no replacement for the spiked boots)

And what about the beanie that you can find in the Arnika spaceport? It seems to have only bad effects.

The rubber shoes can be used to walk across an electrafied plate in the Mine Tunnels area (as an alternative to going into the T'Rang control room).

As for the beanie, it's a cursed items, and unlike some other items, it has no beneficial properties (other than it can be sold for cash!).

The one I never figured out is incense.

In Trynton, just before the ratkin tree you see some braziers where insense might be burned.
