Ok .. I may be the dumbest person around .. but here's my problem. I finish the dungeon in durlag's tower .. killed the demon knight (the boss?) and got soul taker the dagger ... but I can't find the way out of the tower. i know this probably sounds silly .. but I have no clue how to get out of here ... I get to the chess board ..and can't go any further .... what do i do??

You should talk with Durlag´s wife (Elianne?). She will take you out.
