you mean I can't tell you that Irenicus doesn't stay dead and makes a final comeback killing everybody in your party...kidding! I haven't played the game I have it but I can't install it and I need a patch that I can only get of the net but my comp isn't hooked up...hopefully it will get hooked up this weekend!

Relax.. I haven't played ToB yet either, waiting for it to be delivered, and I yet have to see my gaming to be "ruined" because someone mentions something from ToB. Sorry, it isn't. In fact, it actually intriques me even MORE. No need to be so stiff about little things..

I think he´s right - it´s a grave mistake to post spoiler info in a subject line. But if we start posting like this the forum will soon be dead burnt by flame wars like so many others !!!

Yeah Ive just about had the whole script told to me over a number of threads. Its should be a punishable offence to spoil without a spoiler tag!

There is a ToB forum. Why post ToB spoilers in this SoA forum?? I believe someone*s doing it just to ruin it for others.

You are right, Jan. It is really not that difficult to put a spoiler tag in your topic title and to post TOB questions in the TOB forum. While you should always try to remain civil, there is nothing wrong at all with your request!

Whailor, you are entitled to your opinion but we have a policy on spoilers on these forums, and I'm afraid the general consensus -with which I fully agree- is that spoilers can ruin the gaming experience quite thoroughly.

Personally, I think it's usually just laziness and carelessness that makes people post inadvertent spoilers, and that is sad, because they *can* ruin the game for others in such a moment of carelessness.

I remember well when I was playing this game for the first time and I was just in the entrance dungeon. I had played BG1 before that, so I was pleasantly surprised to see Imoen, Jaheira and Minsc back. When I had just left the dungeon, I was browsing the old blue Ironworks forums for a clue about which quest to do first. One of the topics said: "Read if you don't like spoilers" Naive little me entered the topic, only to be told: Imoen is your sister, Yoshimo betrays you and you and Irencius end up in Hell!!!
Needless to say, I was mad as hell and the whole Yoshimo/Imoen quests lost a lot of their wonder and appeal to me. [img]graemlins/madhell.gif[/img]

If you are a newbi spoilers ruin the game. However, spoilers don't matter that much if you have already finished the game.

=That is sad, Melusine, but I agree that most spoilers are posted because we who have played the game so often just take it for granted that the three things you mention were just common knowlege. As for myself, I already had an inkling about Imoen I mean, if you have played BGI and thought about it, you MUST have an inkling. Especially the prologue. I was too internet ignorant to even know what a forum was, so I was shocked when Khalid-you know, and Yoshimo-ditto.When Irenicus did-you know, , I was appalled. I STILL can't stand it when he-guess what's Imoen.

...agree to most of you. But actually i don't think that ToB Spoilers should only be posted in the ToB Forum - if they are tagged correctly it wouldn't matter anyway. And as it is somehow the same game (i still play the SoA part although i have ToB already installed) i would not like to switch back and forth between two Forum.. (damn, whats the plural of Forum ?)... ...whatever...
