I saw this on the main site, that its a combonation of a Loudspeaker and Electric Eye, but RI'm wondering what the combontion, the Watchdog Alarm does.

While I'm at it, what does the Loudspeaker and Electric eye do on their own?

one would assume that watchdog alarm behaves exactly like the mage air realm spell watchdog.
a long duration spell, it allows you to sleep out in the open, and wakes you up before you are jumped by monsters.

Thats pretty neat, I think I'll defently have to build that when I do get the game, oy, thats the last thing I'd need, monsters ambushing me while I'm asleep, ok, thanks.

Sorry, but there is some inaccurate information available at some of the gamer sites. You'll need a Samurai, Bishop or Mage for that. The Watchdog Alarm was designed, but not included in the game we got.

Actully this was not at a gamer's site, this was at the main Wizardry 8 site, and I clicked on the Gadeteer link, and this thing came up, and it had a picture of the Omigun, the electric eye, loudspeaker and the two combined, I have no clue, unfortunly I don't have the game, do'h.

The ingredients for that, as well as the demon doll, were cut or something from the final release. You'll just have to content yourself with all the other cool gadgets-you won't miss the ones that didn't make it *grin*

Do'h, thats not a good thing, oh well, theres nothing I can do about it, thats for sure, but your right, I'll just have to see what happens with all the other stuff I can have my Gadgeteer create.

If it's any consolation, what was cut was the Gadgeteer equivalent of the spell Shadowhound, which is one of the spells I keep going all of the time (the others being Armorplate, Enchanted Blade, Missile Shield, Magic Screen, Light-just for practice- and Chameleon).

Hmmm, again, weird, for some reason the watchdog alarm, electric eye and loud speaker are in the strategy guide, its weird that theres something in the guide thats not in the game, oh well.
