I am nearing completion on the 6 month adventure which is Wizardry 8. Hey, I'm planning a wedding, I don't have much game time.

Anywho, I am pursuing the Peace Mission big finale and am stuck. I have looked in the official cheat . . . er . . . strategy guide, I have prayed for inspiration, and I'm planning to kill a goat with a silver knife on the next full moon, so perhaps you can save a goat by providing a little information. For those still engaged in the game,

As mentioned, I'm completing the peace mission side quest before I go cap the Dark Savant. I have freed the prisoners, met with the T'Rang and gotten the tracking device. I just met with Gen. Yamir and he sent me up to Mt. Giga Peak to fire the big gun at the DS ship. So, my question is, where do I install the T'Rang tracking device? Second, at the launch command console, what command is need/used? The strategy guide only mentions the console if you want to crash the Umpani ship, assuming you are alligned with the T'Rang.

Please, Please, Please help a brother out, so I can finish this game and go buy Morrowind!

Near the rocket, there's a panel. at the panel. you will see a slot ( kinda hard to see ). insert you tracking device into that slot. and watch the rocket fly.

I had hit the button on the console to get the tracking info a number of times, I never thought to apply the tracking device to the same spot. I probably tried to apply the tracking device everywhere else, however. D'oh!
