stats aside, has anyone noticed that certain races do better at one class than others? for example, in my first game i had either a lizard or human samurai and didn't do too well until towards the end. now, i've got a felpur sammy and he's kicking butt. he's doing just as well as my fighter and he's casting spells to boot! i have the feeling that maybe sir tech made certain races excel in specific classes.

Yes so it is. Hobbits are the most generic race that is good for most any class.

But of course each class has it's specificity.

Until now I fund out that hobbits make marvelous samourais!

one complaint with the race thing...I really think that gnomes should have mucho bonus points for a gadgeteer. I made my gadgie a gnome for role-playing reasons, anyway, but I think they should have more bonus points or something. Not that I'm complaining too hard, because my gadgeteer kicks serious butt, esp. now that I have the microwave ray.
