Slaps the T'Rang Queen Z'ant! (spoiler)

It's only here high level that retains me to slauther her. She gave me the quest for the mook aliance. Only problem I did have her letter before (Stool it at a previous trip) and showed the CM before even have the quest. Now Z'Ant don't let me finish the quest. I have the letter from the mooks and the CM but my quest log still says "show the letter and give device"...

Any idea on how I can let Z'Ant give me the next step?!?

I guess you are playing on the both sides of the fence, eh?

The Mook Acceptance letter is for the Umpani. To complete Z'Ant's quest, you will first need to obtain a false Chaos Moliri (I think) and swap it with the one in the UMA.

Give the real sphere to Z'Ant and he(?) will give it back to you. Mission completed.

Yep I didn't choose my side yet. But I gave the CM looonger before I got the Quest from Z'ant. So for her the quest is done, but the log book sais from not and Z'ant refuse to speak about anything else then the weather and history of the T'Rang empire!

have you tried handing the Chaos Moliri to Z'ant? even tho you did once before? just stick it to your cursor and click it onto her chest and see what happens.

if that doesn't do anything, try talking to her...

when i had the CM and went in, Zant said something like, "Odd, the Watcherssss report the Devicccccce issss sssstill there".

so i thrust the CM onto her chest and she goes all, "sssso proud of you. the watcherssssss could learn fffrom you. i want you to keep thisssssss."

at which point my samurai says "great! i'm not giving it (CM) up. i want to play with it." LOL! i'm not joking. really, that's what he says. he's a "special" kid.

at that point, Zant just starts talking about the next mission.

i had Zant stop talking to me earlier, but i started asking her questions and throwing different phrases at her and got her going again. maybe if you just type in some things, like:
Chaos Moliri
Umpani
Rapax
anything to get her talking to you again.

if that doesn't work, you may end up having to go back to an earlier save.

you need to give her the letter you got from the mook! the acceptance letter. there are 2 letters of acceptance. if you went to the mook first for the trang, that acceptance goes back to Zant.

when you go to the mook for the umpani later, you also get a letter then, too. (I play both sides of the fence, so i just remembered i got 2 letters.)

THATS why it says Zant needs the letter and the CM!!!

I give her 20 times the CM and the letter and she said she have more important business to do. I should try to ask other Q as well. As going back to an early savegame, no, I'm ways to far in the game and don't want to start over. If she don't speak I may try more brutal retaliation

LOL! slice and dice away!! just remember, she's got lots of arms, so you gotta get in a good spot before you start the deed.

i found the corner behind her, if you can push her out of the way, is a good spot, as it protects your back and lets the other trang file in single file so you just stand there, lopping off trang arms and heads until they are all dead.

then portal out when you get a break!

NO, that is not the case...

Even if you ARE playing both side of the fence and regardless of which letter you give first, the acceptance letter always goes to the Umpani and the Chaos thingy always goes to Z'Ant. Don't worry though, she will give it (the Chaos thingy) back to you.

A word of warning: if you help out the Umpani first you may not get a chance to do the T'Rang quests. It happened to me. Do the flag and assasin quests for the T'Rang before the Umpani quests...

Finally I got the quest! By prompting the darkship coords Zant stareted to speak again about more interesting things! [img]smile.gif[/img] [img]smile.gif[/img]

As for the quest order not a problem. I generally go first to Zant then do the umpani quests and finish the Trang.

Now I must crash both ships. I'm just puzzeled in wich order I should blast them to get all the XP.

Now I just take a break at AP for level a little my team (level 14 to 16 now).
