I just started BG2 and I am extremely impressed with the improvements over BG1! I am playing with a half-elven ranger that I completed BG1 with. I love the storyline so far, although the difficulty is a little frustrating. I don't wan't to play it at an easier level (or even cheat and lower the difficulty for certain battles), and I am finding that it is MUCH harder than BG1. Also, the game plays a little less linearly, with alot of side stories and mini-quests (I feel the need to do them all, just for the sake of completion). I finished BG1 a few times with different characters, but it's hard for me to imagine getting through BG2 more than once without my girlfriend leaving me for not spending enough time with her. This game is addicting. Anyway, sorry for the unimportant ramble, but I just wanted to stop lurking around the forum and actually contribute something, no matter how banal. I look forward to your help when I do run into problems though, and I look forward to helping others when I'm a little more experienced. Thanks for the forum!!!

Jeromy

Nice to meet you

Well I just got my Kensai into Chapter 2. I am about to start a Druid and get him into chapter 2 so when I finish my kensai I will not have to worry about the first Chapter.

Game is very addicting... awsome game.
