I was able to pickpocket the constable key, but I don't know what to do with it. What else of significance is there in the Rapax cellar? Thanks!

Go to the constable's office in the Upper Rapax castle. Unlock his safe and get the three deposit slips. This is how you loot the treasury. Each slip gets you one item. The slip tube is in a room in the Rapax King's area in the Upper Castle.
There's nothing much else in the cellar. |

Thanks for that advice. Anything special about the jail? Also, I was not able to figure out how to use the portcullis key. What does that do? Thanks a lot.

The jail is nothing special, as far as I recall. The portcullis key opens a door up past the zoo. From there, you can go to the lever that raises the portcullis. That's nothing special, either, just a shortcut to/from the King's area. I only bothered with that once.

Thanks. I think I have done everything there is to do in the Castle. Last question: what about the secret passageway in the jail cell that leads to a ladder which I cannot climb?

Secret passage in the jail leads you to FERRO workshop. Before climb up ladder, you must go to Ferro workshop and lift up cage elevater,and then you can climb up to Ferro workshop.
