I don't know how to get to some rooms in Marten's Bluff (especially the one where Martens idol is). I've traveled whole Lower Bluff, but I dunno how to get to these romms in East side of the castle. Using the catapult I was able to get to some part to some castle, but that's it. I've also tried to get there using the water tunnel, but I guess you can only go down thru it. I would really appreciate some help.

It's a bit hard to describe when I don't know exactly where you have been. After you use the catapult, you can walk down from the battlements into the gardens. From there you can walk about till you get to what I think of as the main street (ie the trap with dummy on the right, and the entryway to the idol room on the left. From there you can go back up the stairs to the other set of battlements.

The question is: did you pull the lever in the room past the arrow trap? If not, you can't reach the idol.

To reach the lever room, you have to enter the T'Rang base from the mines. In the big circular room, go north and take the first left corridor. At the end is a stairway up to an isolated section of the fort. Past the Higardi spooks and the arrow trap is the room with the lever.

Actually, you don't have to go through the mines to reach the room with the lever. If you take the elevator down to the T'Rang level, you can find your way to the lever room by going through the room where the T'Rang tell you not to enter. Or, at least, if you refuse their quest, that's what they tell you.

Of course, going through the forbidden T'rang area tends to turn them nasty. Not a good thing if you want to do the quests for them (and I do).

You can get past the "Thissss Area is restricted" T'rang by entering combat before they turn hostile and then running past them in combat mode. The "combat" ends after round one because no one attacked and you end up on the other side of the annoying T'rang.
