There's this level 20 slime thing in a small bog in Ascension Peak called Galrog Ve or something. When you search a nearby skeleton after killing it, you get a potion and then the message "nothing happens". You still see the hand icon. Am I missing something needed? Maybe to resurrect the skeleton? And, is this the most potent slime in the game? I managed to paralyze it before any damage was done.

There are a couple of those skeletons lying around that can be searched for items. I think when you get the message "nothing happens" it means there are no items to be found on the skeleton.
