Arnika problem?

I am wondering if I did something to mess up my game. I went into the area where there is the spaceship callisto. when I came out, the Arnika patrol are now hostile to me. Also the HLL are hostile but the monks from the temple are not. Is it safe to continue or should I restore from a save where the patrol are still friendly. I got some nice experience from the patrols but if my game is messed up it is not worth it.

Your games' not "messed up" as such, there is no one right way to play the game, it's really up to you whether you want the higardi's help or not.

Consider this, "the enemy of my enemy, is my friend", so by annoying the higardi, this might endear you to their opposition.

Why would they start attacking me all of a sudden? I never attacked them. When I saw that Myles was also the enemy I reverted to an older save.

Zanth, the ships gives you a warning if you get too close. Maybe you didn't leave fast enough. I never got much help from the Higardi so wouldn't miss them, but I don't know if you are ready for alot of battles every time you enter Arnika.

Thanks Zig. I did get the warning from the ship and I thought I left quickly. I never got another warning. When I restored I never approached the ship. Perhaps I will check out your theory and see if it was indeed staying by the ship too long was the cause of the hilgardi turning hostile.

Funny, I never had problems with that ship, even tried a lot of dialogue options with it since I thought that ship must play a role in some quest. Besides, I thought the Mook owned that ship, not the Higardi?
