Is ist possible to get Ferros Armory key, or the Rapax Constables safe key without pickpocketing or killing them?
I guess it would be rather unfair if only PPing parties could get all those nice goodies, so I suppose there is an other way to obtain the keys? [ 02-09-2002: Message edited by: BlackHand ] |

Ferro likes pickled Trynnie - he will swap you that for his key. The constable - what do you reckon he likes

If the Constable wants liquor, his capacity must be enormous. One game, I must have given him something like 15 or so bonecrusher brews without result. Another game, I tried several Fuzzfas Fizzers, same thing. So I just pick his pocket.

I'm having a problem right now with the Constable. I can't pick his pocket, he keeps catching me and I keep giving him 10 gold to make him Friendly again so I can attempt to pickpocket him again. If I keep that up, will I eventually pick his pocket or is he wise to me now and I should just try the ale mention (if that even works). I'm hesitant to just kill him because I don't want to have to fight my way through the entire castle!

Is there any point to the "bonecrusher brews"? I've found about 20 bottles of the stuff lying about the Rapax castle (cellar, main and upper level), other than as a sellable item (He'Li pays my party 90 gp a bottle, who already have 800K gp, so don't need the cash) does it have a purpose?

I killed the Constable to get the key --- the other Rapax elsewhere did not turn hostile. Maybe it's because the evil deed was done in a secluded room, with no witnesses.

I gave the constable 5 or 6 drinks and he still did not produce the key. My ninja had a 0 pick pocket skill but I thought what the heck I'll try it anyway. Wouldn't you know I got the key on the first try. I figure he was too drunk to notice.
