OK,
I have found several items that add the expert skills to my characters.. Question I have is when I mouse over the info for the skill it says that it is closed to the character. Does this mean that I can't take advantage of the COOL stuff I found till character x gets that skill? bdedi |

If your character can equip them, then you can use them. But in the skill screen the skill will be grayed-out with its current value as given by the item. You can use the skill at that level, but you can't increase it until you actually unlock the skill statwise.
