As the Title states, is there any way to get rid of the freakin curse permanently? I got the thieve´s dagger for my rogue and I have to uncurse her after every fight, which is pretty annoying. Thanks

Do not worry about the curse. All a cursed item does is prevent it from being removed. In the case of weapons it also prevents you from switching to secondary weapons. Some of the better items in the game are "cursed".

I understand that all the curse does is prevent the person from removing the item, but I loose one person´s ranged attack, there must be a way to kkep the person from getting cursed every single fight (without removing the item, which yes, is pretty good)

ahhh... nope... that's the tradeoff for the better stats on these nice weapons.. Hell.. the Faust halberd is cursed, AND it's -3 HP regen... which means unless you have a regen ring or 3 things that regen 1hp each.. your constantly taking dmg. but the dmg that thing wallops out!!!!... wwooooo boy!... anyway... no way to uncurse something... only remove from equipped slot.

The only way to do what you want is to use an editor and turn off the cursed status of the item. Then you'll be able to wield the dagger and still use a bow.

In Wizardry 7 i think you could "uncurse" some item`s, your Priest cast uncurse spell on an item then it was uncursed (it`s a long time since i played the game) but i think hi could do that in that game, but this feature is not available in Wiz 8

Megabot - Actually, it worked the same way in Wiz7 as Wiz8 - uncursing just gave you the ability to unequip the item but it didn't stay uncursed. The next time you equipped it, it was cursed again.
Wolven - my partial (non-hacking) solution to this - I had two bishops so didn't have to cast the spell - was once I'd uncursed an item after a fight, I left it equipped but uncursed. That way if I needed to switch to ranged weapons in the next fight I could do so with no problem and then switch back to the cursed item if I needed to so it gave me two switch-outs instead of just one to the cursed item.

Does that mean you could uncurse a cursed item that was switched in battle? That is, during battle? Say, a bishop or other magic user uncursing a blade so they can switch back to ranged weapons? Haven't tried that. In Wiz 7, some items were so nasty that they drained stats even if they were uncursed. Raven's Bill, Serpent staff, etc. In this game curse only freezes them from switching. I guess the stats still go down, though, if you don't have trinkets to compensate for draining stuff.

Hmmm...I know you can enter inventory mode while in combat but can't do anything but view unless you actually chose the 'change equipment' option, but I never tried uncursing an item then -- I guess I just assumed it wouldn't work. But yes, if you've got the Remove Curse spell (I didn't bother learning it) then you could probably cast the spell during combat to switch the item out or have your bishop change equipment and while he was in there he should be able to uncurse an item. And AFAIK uncursing an item doesn't stop it from doing anything else to you like -1HP, etc. It just allows you to unequip it.
