I see moderate discussion about pickpocket skill. My question is:
If you are successful at doing a pickpocket, are there any negative after effects? I.e. does the character realize later that you stole from him and then not interact with you in the same way?

With the latest patch, NPCs notice their belongings disappear after each of your visits even if they don't catch you with your hands in their pockets.
They might become Neutral, but you can just bribe them with a little gold to make them friendly again. Do not try to bribe them with items you previously stole from them. |
