Hi all !

I heard that dual wielding was much better if the two weapons were of the same class.
I did not find any sword or mace usable as a second weapon yet, are there some in the game ?

what weapon(s) who you specialize your fighter in if you want him to be very effective ?

finally, is the lizardman with polearms the true king of fighters ?

i'm looking forward to your answers

The best secondary weapon in the game, by far, is a mace. In fact, you can get two of them if you do it right.

However, I don't think it's accurate to say that dual wielding the same type of weapon is better. It's really only "better" because your skill in a single weapon type tends to be better than if you split it up. Still, if you can co-develop two weapon skills, using different types isn't bad.

The only swords usable as a secondary weapon are not available to the fighter. There is a nice mace that can be found about mid game that is an excellent secondary weapon.

As to a Lizardman with a polearm I cannot answer but I have seen some decent polearms in the game.

MaskedFrog. I was just wondering what non-fighter off-hand swords you are referring to.

The Wakisashi, Ninjato,... seem to by swords but do actually use the *dagger* skill, upon closer examination.

I have already finished the game twice so feel free to spoil.
