I have had a few instances that one of my party members has died during combat. I have always went back and reloaded my game instead of using a resurrection power or scroll. Unfortunatley this is sometimes after spending a lot of time in a battle and often near the end. In wiz 7 each char. had a candle of life and resurrecting someone came with a loss in the candle length. Is there any negative effect for resurrecting a character? Thanks in advance.

As far as I can tell, there's no penalty. The game keeps track of the number of lives but I don't see any indication that stats are affected.
