why?!?!!? (idol)

Well I'm playing solo f/n right now and im about to grab the idol. The closest NPC on the way was the andriod (rfs-something). WHY WONT CROCK TAKE HIM? I grab it and my f/n goes bye bye. I reload. I try again. Same results.

I tried that 15 times.

Is there something I dont know here? Does the npc have to be female or.... not a machine?

Or maybe they made -everything- like pickpocketing now (ie. you cant reload and get a different result)

Sure - I could kill crock and avoid this - but he hasnt done anything...... YET! Oh well back to Trynton with me to get whassisname gadgeteer.

Better yet.. I'll grab some sleep. woo.

I think simply because no matter what, someone has to vanish to trigger to Bereke (sp?) quest.

Seems like it's due to the low number op PCs in your party. When I took the idol with my sevenheaded party, everytime I reloaded someone else vanished.

Yeah I don't think it takes NPCs... not once have I got it to trigger to take an NPC... anyone else?

Same results here - it wont take a npc - reloaded 25-30 times hoping my poor android would be missing - never happens!

They're smart - they know more than likely, other than possibly Vi, you aren't going to care too much about whether or not an NPC vanishes, and may not attempt to finish the quest. [img]smile.gif[/img]
