Target Practice - Possible Spoiler

I am un Upper Marten's Bluff and came upon some weird metal contraption. I pressed some buttons on a console and this target falls, with a bullseye painted on the face and body part. You can click on this, but when you do, it says, nothing happens. I am guessing that you must use a certain item here. I have tried several things and nothing seems to work.

Would appreciate any help please. I am going crazy, trying to figure this out. Thank you.

If you end up working for the T'Rang, one of the quests they send you on is to lure a Rapax there to kill him.
You can buy a perfume from Crock in the swamp that you can use on the dummy to lure the Rapax into the area and to his death.

I killed him out front rather than to wait and see if their contraption worked LOL

Even if you ally with the Umpani and don't have the quest from the T'Rang, you can lure the Rapax in and use the squisher on him to get some exp. pts. Just won't get the extra from the T'Rang though you do get to keep the trophy to put on your wall..
