Hi,

so far I was very pleased by the performance of Vi. I knew from the beginning (from the forum) that there is one place she wouldn't go and I thought that would be Banyin only, which I found out very soon. Now, playing around with the T'Rang Teleporter, I found out to my distaste that she also wouldn't want to go to the Rapax Castle.
It seems to me as if she wouldn't go to any "late in the game places", which really annoys ME.

Any workarounds? I know that I can teleport her into these places, but I also heard, that this would annoy HER and HER performance. Can you confirm this? Will she leave the party at the first possibillity if forced into these areas?

Are there any places left beyond SE-Wilderness, Mountain-Wilderness, MT-Gigas and the Bluff where I could take her?

Should I seek for another NPC (I already have the RFS-81 who rocks)?

That irritated me to NO end, too... I've been dragging Vi and Madras around for a good part of the game, and I put a LOT of effort in them, only to see them disappear every time I wanted to enter one of the tougher areas in the game.

Oh well... Seeing those two slots at the top of my roster empty just doesn't feel right.

I haven't been there and beyond -like I said, I played around with the Teleporters only - so...

...Rapay Rift, does that include the whole Rapax Castle, only parts of it, anything beyond it...

Could you please be a tiny bit more specific about where she would go beyond the mentioned places and if would be useful to keep her?

Then how about forcing her into these areas so she would get the experience points? I mean if she wouldn't leave?
Would only make sense if there's any use for her in other places, though, see above.

The RFS-81 is supposed to go everythere (from what I heard). He can't cast spells, though, but is great in combat nonetheless. I also LOVE his utterly submissive comments ("Yes Master!", "Destroy!", "Exterminate Lifeforms!", just to quote some of them). As I have very decent casters in my party this isn't really an issue for me. So you might consider to pick him up, unless you need the gadgeteer or have a monk already in your roster.

To force Vitalia (Vi) to anywhere with you, you will need 2 characters that are able to set portals.

1) Set one in Arnika and the other inside the area (Rapax Rift, Bayin, etc.)

2) Go to Arnika and recruit Vi (she will be at the tavern).

3) Have your character that set the portal in Rapx Rift or other area where Vi won't go cast "Return to Portal"

4) Vi will be with you but she will be very unhappy and complain all the way demanding that you get her out of there. However, she DOES NOT leave on her own, so you can adventure with her no matter what.

As mentioned before Vi will complain, so will any other character you drag to a place that they don't like, but I haven't found anything negative about draggin them along any way [img]smile.gif[/img] And 8 fighting makes it a lot easier than only 6!

Setting portal to keep npc with you is just a waste of your magical power.
What you should do is to find a way to make her fall unconscious.Maybe a long distence dash will do. [img]smile.gif[/img]
