Trynnie faction rating ***spoiler alert***

I FINALLY managed to kill the breeders and then went to the chief (after avoiding 5 ratkin thugs with 250 hp apiece) and got my meager xp reward, but afterwards, all Trynnies turned yellow and my faction rating went to neutral. Did I miss something? I saved their colonial from the Rat Breeders and now they like me less? Any advice or comments are welcome.

I think you're supposed to talk to Madras (the little guy who gives you the quest) first, then talk to the Chief. Not sure if that had anything to do with what happened to you and the Trynnies, but if you can, reload before you talk to Chief Geri and go back and talk to Madras first.

I spoke to the chief first and spoke to mardras like a week later and the trynnies are still green. Did you kill any trynnies by mistake and didn't realize it? or stole something from the chief and got caught?
