Found only one thing to cure draining. Try using a Potion of Renewal to stop the leak..

I read on another board the the pool near Lord Braffit in Arnika will heal draining. I haven't verified this myself.

There may also be a spell, scroll or potion of "restoration" too....but the renewel potion is the only sure cure I know of.
I hoard these potions and buy any I find available.

If you die and resurrect, it cures the draining. (Go in the water and have that character remove their scuba gear).

Ressurect powder is SO much more common than renewal potions.

Of course, use this only if you can tolerate that 'Character Deaths: X' (where X>0) hanging there like a badge of shame.

If you've already used that pool 3 times (or healed three characters) then it is now useless to you. If you can't find any renewal potions, I would suggest doing the drown and resurrect...always assuming you have a scroll/dust/spell to resurrect, mind you.

If you have a guy with 50 in alchemy =>
Potion of Renewal = Cure Disease + Heavy Heal

where
Cure Disease = Cure Lesser Condition + Heavy Heal
Heavy Heal = Light Heal + Moderate Heal

The level 7 spell "Restoration" can't cure Drained, despite the description in the manual ("Cures all conditions except Death")
