ROFLMAO!!

i just granted the CRUSH spell to my Mage and i can't stop using it!!
am i sick? or is this the funniest spell yet?

this teeny weeny little faerie calls up a house-sized boulder that fairly reduces a highwayman to a puddle of goo, and i nearly fall off my chair each and everytime i see it happen. after this last guy, she says, innocently, in her cute little southern accent, "Oooh! mah bad!!"

::getting back up on her chair, for the umpteenth time, still giggling:: i must be sick. that's all there is to it.

ROTFL!!! Too funny, Vesselle! "Mah Bad!" I can just see it!

The personalities of the PC characters are hilarious in this game. My Psionic (who I have as the "meditational" one), flubbed a spell in the middle of battle and came out with a long speech about "how since the mind controls all things, it is error in the mind that produces error in all things, blah blah..." My Dracon Ranger, who has the "Dark" persona, growled at her, "oh, shaddup!" I had to run to the bathroom, I was laughing so hard!

Once again we see where QUALITY was built into every level of this game...a true work of love and devotion. (course I was never able to get that stupid house sized boulder to affect anything..it seems "boss" monsters like Queen ants and stuff are immune )

ROFLMAO!!

Another who shares this sickness! This is the best effect yet in a spell. Every time that big boulder appears and goes 'SPLAT!' I giggle (I think my hubby is thinking of having me committed :0 ).

I cast it last night at something (can't remember what ... lol) using about a power level 5 and that poor unsuspecting baddie didn't know what hit it for 92 points! Yes! (And we all danced.... lol).

And to think ... I owe it all to the Leaf Sprites (insert many profanies before the word Leaf please ) ... If they hadn't CRUSHED the stuffing out my peeps a couple of times I wouldn't have known! Of course, after I got the spell I returned the favor to them ..... .

Whipping Rocks can be quite funny too .... lol.

I love using the Whipping Rocks. I haven't really tried the Crush spell as much. After I encountered the faery sprites, though... I have learned!

And I agree the humor in this game is just great fun and shows a labor of love. You don't get this kind of quality with games unless you love what you do.

All in all, the Earth magic spells in this game have improved greatly over Wiz 7. In Wiz 7, "Crush" and "Whipping Rocks" were both pretty lame, dealing out penny-ante damage. I rarely used them. Now that my mage is getting up in Earth magic, these spells are really useful.

Still, I prefer Fireball since it can be targeted at an area rather than at a person. It's hilarious to set a Fireball spell to go off way in front of a group of fast-moving opponents (like Higardi Brigands) and watch them make their move right into the direct line of fire!

Cheers,
