Screwed in Trynton (SPOILERS)

I've been having a ball with this game, speaking as someone who remembered reading advertisements for the second Wizardry game when it came out, and an avid player of Wizardry 7 when it was new. This is digital crack.

However, in Tryton, I'm having problems.. I've cleared out everything but the sixth bough... I'm supposed to get two Short Gooda Vines in the building labeled "Sanctuary" behind the Riddle Fountain, right? I only get one, and I can't find another one for the life of me...

As you can guess, this is really putting a damper on my fun in Trynton. Anyone know where I can find another?

Did you click the other pillar? There's one on each pillar.

Make sure to check to see if it went in your party's inventory rather than a character's inventory.

There are two trees within the sanctuary - did you try clicking on both of them? (probably so) Do you have a save from before you tried to get the vines?
Did you drop one on the floor?

I haven't figured out how to hack items in this game yet, so I can't help you there

B> I reloaded a previous game, and the results still came up the same... No dice. *pulls hair out*

I don't know if this is a bug, or they just randomized the location of it, but it's really starting to dampen the game on me.. I can't get Madras because I can't finish the sixth bough... I just moved on to Marten's Bluff for the time being.

Are you sure you are in the right place??

I got the zuzu petals from a completely different building than I got the vines. The vines came from the sanctuary which isn't far from Fuzzfas' store. The zuzu petals came from a building on the north side of the zoo area.

Maybe that is your problem?? Hope so!

Completely sure on that... I got the Zuzu petals and one vine out of that building, which is marked "Sanctuary", which is by the potion shop and right in front of the riddle fountain...

Weird.

Maybe you should check the large building north of the zoo and see if you can get a vine there!
