from town to town, use the trainer and hit Alt + L
it gives you a list of all locations and you pick the one you want, sorta like teleport spell
its the only thing I use the trainer for and its sure nice, much better then running back & forth from town to town
esp for those of us who are getting motion sick...

Thanks for the tip Lady Nightshade. And we all know who you are specifically talking about when you mention the motion sickness. Sorry Ziroc, just a little laugh.

Alternative: now that four of my characters know the set/return portal spell, I'm finding traveling much less of a nuisance. The game really could have used some permanent waypoints though.

rofl both the T'Rang and Umpani have excatly this.

Umpani have a 2-way portal from Gigas to the Arnika road house.

T'Rang have a gateway (needs fixing with the wires from the dead T'Rang with his arm cut off*) in Lower Bluff that leads to four places: Arnika-Trynton road house (2-way); Mount Gigas entrance; Rapax Rift; and Marten's Bluff.

* This is the third Indiana Jones reference I've found btw (the rolling rock by the mines and the Moroli trick are the others)
