I've signed up for one or two DC communities, and every time a message is posted, I get an email. This can get very annoying when I can get up to 20 emails a day from DC stuff which can clog up my email limit. Is there any way to stop them sending me an email for every message and reply that is posted?

Thanks.

I had this here at IW. Try to click on profile and you should see something like "Be notified by email when someone sends you a private message?"

It's not from Ironworks, it's from other DC forums that have been created on Yahoo Communities.

Ok, jaradu, I got the fix on this one. I had to deal with this problem before. You have to go to the Yahoo groups, and edit your membership (it should say group member and edit membership on the right side of the screen, click on that and select "no mail delivery"). If you have both sending email, remember to do both.

What is most likely happening is that you have "Email Notification" On. Meaning that everytime someone post in a thread you posting in, you receive an email.

You can turn in off in your profile. On some board, when you register they turn it on by default. It's really annoying.

If it's from a yahoo communities, it might be as was posted above. You might have email notification for everything turned on. That's even more annoying.
