Can it be done in this game? Theres no option like in BG2 or do i have to have BG2 installed to heal upon rest??

Heres the deal i have a two person party FIghter mage and Imoen

the only healing spell i have is the two special ability heals that my main character gets from thoose dreams, which kills me as you can imagine

Healing upon rest would be great....what do i need to do??

P.S i kno how it works, therefor is it because i dont have any REAL healling spells that i cant do it?

thnx

You can't do it in BG1. Maybe installing BG1 tutu will allow you to do this, but why not just cast your two healing spells before you rest? It shouldn't exactly take a long time seeing how you only have to cast it twice.

Seriously. Download Baldurs Gate Tutu. It converts the BG I engine to the BG II engine, with al the perks like Kits, the Barbarian, sorcerer and monk special classes, and, of course, healing on rest.

I've downloaded it, and let me tell you, it's a godsend

This has me confused. What is it that you want "heal on rest" or "rest till fully healed"? Those are 2 different things. The first one which you asked about does not let you rest till you're fully healed, and is really not necessary in your case if you have only 2 spells. I think what you meant is "rest till fully healed".

good thinking, ZFR. It sounds like you're right, and it certainly makes more sense in the "rest until fully healed" context. I think BG1 has this option available under the game options, doesn't it?

Why don't you get Larloch's Minor Drain to speed your healing? Cast it on squirrels and bunnies.

You can even cast it on chests and still get back HP. Now that's cheesy.
