It's about time, and it looks like they didn't just dump them on some disc's to make some cash. There are loads of extras!

And Amazon

Awesome. Been waiting for this. The 'fox kids' versions were butchered to hell, and cut for time. Good to see this series on DVD finally.

Are they any good? I see they are cartoons, so that could mean that they're for kids, for grownups, something inbetween, or both.

They're for kids. It was a popular cartoon that ran in the 80's and many of us hold it dear in our hearts because it was our first taste of D&D. It is far from a stupid or pointless cartoon but adapted for a young viewer audience. All that aside it was so cool to see the classic edition of D&D here. I remember it fondly, would love to see it all the way to the end and probably will buy this DVD if only to see Dungeon Master vanish again and Cavalier say "I hate when he does that".

I remember every kid wanted the rangers magic bow but me, I wanted the cavalier's shield

If you don't want to wait, they play it on the weekend on (I think) ABC Family or some similar cable channel. I DVR'd it for a while until I had re-watched most of the episodes - it's very dated animation wise, and it's pretty simple upon reviewing, but cool to see regardless.

And I second the cavalier's shield - even back then I thought Cavaliers were cooler than Rangers, even if Eric is a giant wuss.

Yeah Eric was curiously flighty...not sure why since he had an awesome shield to protect himself. Presto was just an idiot, lol. I would have loved if one day the cartoon started with him impaled upon "Uni's" horn.
