I am a huge Halloween fan (the Movie) and the first one was the best. Well, CNN is reporting that Moustapha Akkad was in a wedding that was bombed a day ago.

Man, that's horrible. He was one of the few people who ever made a decent horror movie. It's a horrible loss.

Hmm, that's extremely unfortunate.
I loved the first two films in particular and this comes as a tremendous shock. Thanks for the link, Ziroc. I'll no doubt get nostalgic for those films now out of respect for his and Carpenter's work. I can only hope that any potential new film's made with the Halloween monkier don't continue to blemish his halloween legacy as many of the sequels have done.
