What strikes your fancy for winners this year? (if you even care lol)
I hope Jamie Foxx takes Best Actor for Ray simply because I think it's be a shame for Johnny Depp to lose to Leonardo and it seems to me as if The Aviator has made an impression.

I can't make an informed decision in all catagories since I haven't seen a lot of the films but I'm hoping this thread can start some conversations!

Achievement in visual effects :
My Pick = Spider-Man 2

Best animated feature film of the year (decent year for animation)
My Pick: Shrek 2

The rest of the categories I don't care about:
For example Best motion picture of the year nothing really great to choose from but I will pick the The Aviator to win as I think it is the best film in the list.</font>

Mostly I dont care either way except this year I do care for best song. That song from Polar Express brought a tear to my eye. And to many of the people sitting around me.

I am not even excited about the ocsars this year.
