It was my understanding that there was a brand new series coming out. I saw a 2 hour pilot some months ago and have never seen or heard anything since. I heard it was supposed to air on a British network. Does anyone know anything about this. The pilot, like the original series looked very good.

There was a Galactica remake miniseries that aired on Sci-Fi that was utter crap.

The 'new' TV series (12 episodes I think) is coming in Jan. yech. I didn't like it.

Ahh, c'mon guys. With all the less-than-great sci-fi out there, I'm ready for anything.
I'm still not over the shock of no Angel this season. How can something that well done be axed? Is there no justice...

Angel was cancelled to make way for another vampire-related show-- the remake of Dark Shadows. But now DS isn't even going to be made, so it's kind of stupid...
