Anyone heard of Michael Palin? Don't know if you have him in the USA. Anyway he used to be in Monty Python, now does Geography programmes. His series Himalaya has just started and the book of the same name has been released. A couple of days ago he did a book signing and I met him. Impressed? Oh well, I was.

I know who he is, yes. He's been doing travel programmes for quite awhile now. Other former Monty Python members also show up occasionally in various shows and programs.

He was a great comedian when he was with the Python troupe (he's my second favourite, my fav is Cleese). Himalaya is a great series. Breathtaking camerawork. Palin seems so reserved in 'real life' compared to his off-the-wall Python characters. Maybe 'old age' has calmed him down a bit

Blunderbuss, we do have him in the states. PBS in the 70s would run Monty Python and it was a big hit. I occassionally cath his tavel logue and enjoy it very much.
