Sorry I will try and keep my questions to a min.

OK what is TuTu?
Does it change the game play?
Should I use it?

1) It's a mod that converts BG1 to use the BG2 engine (so you need a copy of BG2)

2) Only to the extent that the engines differ (ie. not really). There are fixpacks, addons and numerous mods that you can use to change the gameplay if you wish.

3) Yes. BG1 in high resolution is nothing to sniff at. Plus you get the better interface, tab highlighting if you use ToB and access to all the SoA classes and character options. I've encountered a few bugs, but none of them have been game-stopping so I would give it a whirl.

I have BG2 but I haven't installed it yet. I was waiting to finish BG1.

I will do a search for TuTu then.

Can someone please drop a link for this mod and one for the darkside of the sword coast mod, I can only find mac ones which are no good to me.

I got the dark side of the sword coast from file planet. there is a real funny evil hobbit sound set there.

OK I followed the steps for tutu and after I create a char the game crashes. I installed the fix. Anyone have a clue???

when using a BG1 character to transition to BG2, if you use an exp cap remover does it still limit you to the max exp from bg1 (or TotSC if it's installed) and would you need a bg2 exp cap remover instead of the bg1 cap remover?

(just started a new game with a f/m/t and want to know if I'm going to be able to solo, or if the exp cap will make that unfeasible.

I'm asking which one I would have to use with Tutu, and then yes, would that get around the max xp for imported characters for BG2.
