I've been waiting for this book for so long now. Is there any news or rumours as to when it'll be released? I also love the way that Amazon are already taking pre-orders for Book 5 - A Dance With Dragons

I wouldn't expect it till next year, if he hasn't even finished yet. Don't waste your time checking out Amazon or anyone else, they won't have a clue either, they'll be guessing just like the rest of us. I'm waiting too...but I'm getting into Steven Erikson's A Tale of the Malazan Book of the Fallen series - it's the closest thing to GRRM I've read yet. Check it out if you're waiting. Good luck on finding one...

But Seriously, Sara Douglass has a series is done.

The books are Battleaxe, Enchanter, Starman, Sinner, Pilgrim, Crusader. In that order.

They are very good.

There's also the "Assassin trilogy" from Robin Hobb.

Looks like I need to check Steven Erikson out.

Hurry up, GRR Martin, you're worrying us. I mean, check the dude out -- he ain't in the world's best health, y'know. I'm just hoping he gets the tale done before... well... before he goes on a diet, gets his cholesterol down, and starts looking like he could walk a flight of stairs.
