Animated WoT Movie

We are proud to announce that we have secured the rights to use music
written and composed by noted composer Jack Wall, who is responsible for
the music to the MYST 3 computer game. Mr. Wall's music is a perfect
addition to the tone and feeling of our animated movie. It is fully
orchestrated, and conveys a truly haunting emotion. Once we have the clips
edited and approved, we will post samples in our Sneak Peek section.

If you missed the news last month, here are some sneak peeks of the
upcoming Dragonmount animated movie:

Personally, unless this is a joke - which it doesn't seem to be - I think making a movie from the books would ruin them - if only because, it'd need an 18 age rating - either that, or cut out a lot. *remembers lots of violence and nudity in the books* Besides, theres too much to cram into a single movie... meh, I wonder how they'd portray the Asha'man...

where was there nudity in the books. i don't remeber any. and has anyone ever seen anime. you can't tell me that there isn't any nudity in them. also as to turning books into movies need i say harry potter lord of the rings. those movies are good and true to the books so why can't this be. i hope that it will turn out really good.

You don't remember Dameon? :| well, lets see, there was the Egwene and Avehiender who's name I can never spell, training with the "wise ones" in the Aiel camp, and having to run around in the dark 50 times, nude. Thats one such moment I remember, erm, lets see, perrin walking in on Moraine, and shes got her shawl open, revealing her breasts? There are too many to remember/state.

i know that there is nudity they way you made it sound as if the books where centered around nudity. are at least thats what i took from it. while i think there is some but not so much that they can't easily make them clothed or something like that.

No, no, not at all. I was merely stating that unless they put the age rating up, they'd have to cut out most of the best parts - like the major battles, remember those Asha'men? No, I was just expressing concerns that if they did animate, they wouldn't do the justice, because they'd have to cut so much out. which would suck. Imo, if they animate it, they should put everything in, contents wise... ...of course, it wouldn't be practical, but still.

Thats probably why they are animating it so that they can put all of the stuff from the books in there. i think that if they tried to do a real life movie that they would fail miserably. but doing it as an anime it has vast potential.

Well, it would be extremely difficult to do it as a RL movie; even IF they added computer effects, it would be tacky. Still, maybe it'll be worth watching, then again, maybe not. lol, I wonder if they'll show the various characters getting switched.

From what I read, this movie is only going to be 5-7 minute long and will only address Lews Therin's fall at Dragon Mount, or did I miss something on that web page?

I'm a WoT fan who thinks any attempt to bring the whole series to the video format will fail, but I would pay to see it before making a final judgement.

Rumors of a T.V. series are also a buzz, not a mini-series, but a series. I wouldnt have to pay to see that fail. If they do it, I hope they do it all CG and they leave in the adult content.
