Forgive me if this topic has been dealt with, but what NPCs do you think make up the best party.
Here's mine:

Kivan
Dynahier
Yeslick
Coran

This would be a party of my least favorites:

Khalid
Minsc
Xan
Tiax
Alora

ah khalad, how many times ive sent him ahead to his death so I could keep Jaheira and not have to put up with his crap. And kivan, the joy I had recreating in shadowkeeper him for bg 2 and in icewind dale too.

i got Rikard (in my ranger periode so ranger)
Kivan (2 rangers)
Xan (didn't feel like taking Dynaheir coz that would requere Minsc couldn't find edwin)
Coran (great fighter/thief)
Imoen (duall to mage)
Bradwin
Gerrick (Bards rock)

i'd say the best is

Edwin (mage)
Coran (thief)
Imoen dual to mage
Kivan (ranger)
Ajantis (paladin fighter bard mage cleric druid)
Bradwin (druid cleric)
between the () is who you should kick out when you are (*)

He, he. I went back and starting playing Baldur's Gate one again . Didn't think I'd see you in this forum Memnoch . (Sorry that this has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the post).

Though personally I like multiplayer cuz I get to choose each characters skills that way...

I loved my party al times, but i have one place free, wile i play itt there was all ways a other NPCer

But my last party was :

Jaheira(Fighter/ Druid)
safana (thief that i have dualed to fighter)
Dynaheir(She rocks!!)
Me (Cleric)
Imoen (thief)
Garrick (Best bard)

I have 2 main parties, a 'good' one and an 'evil' one. I think I like the evil one more, but that's just me...

'Good' party
Daniel (human ranger)
Imoen
Minsc
Dynahair
Yeslick
Khalid (I normally kill Jaheria or leave her in a building I never intend to return to)

'Evil' party
Eudial (half-elf thief/mage)
Viconia
Shar-Teel
Kagain
Kivan (with Helm of Opposite Alignment)
Edwin

I especially like Kivan and Viconia's interaction... though it's odd just how nice Viconia is compared to her personality in BG2. I was really shocked at the change in her.
