OK, this is just a little rant I have had on my mind for ages. I am a huge fan of the "Back to the Future" movies. Probably because I'm a huge fan of anything involvoing time travel. But, guys, don't you feel like me that Marty is a wee bit on the stupid side when he can't seem to be able to think that things are different when you are in a different time, again and again ?

Also, the scene in the 3rd movie, at the end, in the car, when Marty's GF reads the paper and it's blank, always makes me cringe. She looks so stupid !

Do you mean the book or the films? If you mean the films then they're supposed to be coming out in DVD format in the not-to-distant future. Otherwise, I didn't know that there was a book version.

Moiraine, that scene is just a hook to enable Doc to say '..because the future is a blank sheet which has not yet been written' or something like that.

I loved those films when they were first released.
I think the first one is the best - the acting got a bit wooden in the other 2, especially Marty's girlfriend and also his mother wasn't too good in the 2nd film, very overdone acting.

I agree. The first one was the best. I thought I was the only one who'd noticed the sloppy acting in the others.
