I'd start just like Salvatore wrote them. Icewind Dale to start then just go in order. You're gonna love them!!

Ok, in hard back, there is an Icewind Dale Trilogy, A Dark Elf Trilogy, and a Legacy of the Drow Collectors Edition. There is a Cleric Quintet thing Salvatore did, but it doesn't focus on Drizz't. He wrote them in the above order, but I would recommend reading them in Chronological order, ie The Dark Elf Trilogy, Icewind Dale, then the Legacy of the Drow. All in Hardback, mind you. Each Hardback has three or four paperbacks in it. Makes it almost worth the $25 for each. Which reminds me. I need to go by the Legacy one. It is newish.

Got The Legacy from Amazon.com in paperback. Didn't realize there are 3 more books in that series! Thanks for the info on the order to read them in. Was just wondering that as they are my next reading. So I'll start with The Dark Elf trilogy and by the time I make it to Icewind Dale, I may have picked up the other Legacy books.
