I belted some Bandits on my way to Baldurs gate and found a weird letter with a riddle on it. When I went to the first store in the city I was stunned by the value placed on the letter. However like bandit scalps, Big Bug scales, and the autographs of Larry, Larry and Moe, this letter obviously has to be taken to a specific place to be sold. A quick check of search engine resulted in nothing but that could just be because I did use the right words. Anyone run into this before and had a financially enhancing outcome.

In Durlag's Tower, I found a letter with some crap about a chair on it, which had no apparent use, but was worth 100gp.

I have no idea. But I wouldn't worry about it too much I found I had more money then I knew what to do with by the end of the game anyway and if it's got a price it won't be a plot item.

It said that a chair has arms and legs like a man, but cannot walk like a man. I didn't find out what it meant either.

How much was it worth? Btw, it isn't Larry, Larry and Moe, it is Larry, Darryl, and Darryl

That letter has been the cause of much curious vexation, and as far as I know, nobody had a damn clue why it was put in the game.

You can sell it at Feldepost's Inn, and nobody has ever found another use for it.

It's other use is to make people wonder why it was placed in the game. It works, doesn't it?

Thankyou all, I'll probably sell it at scorcerer sundries which is offering 3,700 GP. How if I can find the person who wants the autograph I'll pick that amount up and get ready for end game. I'll saving my pennies for the Good archmage robes, among other things.
