When my 6 year old pc passed away recently, I was determined to buy a high end laptop, which far surpasses the capabilities of my old desktop, gawd rest her bios, and would be portable. I love it, but am discovering that there are some snags, such as my efforts to play NWN2 as I was assured, which I have posted about in that forum.
So I breezed on in here knowing full well that my laptop is an absolute dream in HOTU. Prepared to start downloading the CEP files and thought, hmmm, "Snags"?
My house has been under remodel for almost 3 years and I still have no phone lines yet, so for the time being, wireless is what I have to work with.
So I thought I better get myself in here and find out if I can even play CEP wireless before I start downloading all the files.

So long as you can connect to the internet, and have a decent connection, you should be able to play with no problems.

Ok, I may not play using a laptop, but our house runs on a wireless network with multiple computers and I play without issue, even when we have the pc, mac and laptop running.

Thank you fellas, I appreciate the feedback. I also received good news with regard to my problems running NWN2 on this laptop, it seems a guy with the same intel chipset has found a work-around. I have a lot of work to do.
Thanks again!

useful system info, in-game assistance and the odd piece of esoteric knowledge...plus mac-user bashing, surely it doesn't get any better
