Q1. Why can cookie be used as a henchman outside but if you take him upstairs through the secret entrance to the moneylender he does not follow down more than one passage?
Q2. Are there anymore henchmen for hire? hopefully a rogue and if so where can they be found

Q1. Cookie suffers from the same problems as all NPS when faced with a Door/teleporter. They won't follow you through. Same with pets and familiars. Its a problem with the engine and can really only be resolved with Z giving the NPC's a item that warps them to you.
Q2. I don't think we have a rogue henchman yet. There is Roddybug on level 1, Moric the ranger on level 2, and Teri on level 10. Hope this helps mate and glade to see you FINALLY made it!

Cool, and if the non area trans doors could get fixed, that would make the teleporter maze easier for non rogue types.

currently: four henchmen (as described above)
hopefully soon: at least eight henchmen. I have harassed poor Ziroc here about henchmen since my third month in. how he hasn't gone completely insane is beyond me. (I pride myself on my chaos-inducing behaviours.) seriously though, one can tell more henchmen will be coming because of all the new realms. were there any classes beyond rogue you were hoping to see though, wellard? if so, might as well post them now. not that we are guaranteed to find them the moment Ziroc makes them available, however. *laughs and grins* we'd still have to hunt them down like before. http://www.theodicyonline.com/carrio...escape_to.html interesting commentary about games in general, Baldur's Gate II and Planescape: Torment in particular, and the character of henchmen in a game. And YES, what TDC said.. they kind of get lost on one side of a transition and don't always catch up to you although sometimes they do seem to teleport back to you on a level. Kind of a pain when you lose 'em and are in transit to a battle you'll want help in! ![]() Oooh...new henchmen?! Cool, Z! I have SO got to get myself time to wander in the Undermountain some more! Who wants to trim my shrubs, weed my flowerbeds, do the shopping, fix meals, empty the catbox and clean my house?.........hmmm....don't all rush up and offer at once, now! Happy to try, Wellard! We have a long weekend so I'm hoping we'll have some time to play. Hubby wants to and he's due for some game time!
We've got errands to run all day Saturday, but after that, we just might give it a try!
